- Scope and ContentThis photograph shows a woman and child in a sitting room with television set and video disc player. The caption on the reverse reads "The Video Disc player is childs play to operate. The demonstrations of Video Discs at nter Navex '70 are the first U.K. presentations of this unique system. The photograph shows a prototype player and gives an indication of size and styling; the player must be connected to a domestic television receiver. Video and audio signals are impressed on the Video disc, which can be played more than 1,000 times without appreciable deterioration of quality. Repertoire will range from entertainment to news and advertising as well as all types of educational programmes. July 1970".
