Ernest Walter (Bill) Elliot was chief Engineer at Decca Radio & Television, Bradford, during the 1970s. Elliot was based at their labs in Clayton having previously worked for Baird Television.

Scope and Content
The promotional materials in the Ernest Walter (Bill) Elliot collection consist of newspaper clippings and articles on the TeD, translations of lectures given at the world premier of the TeD press conference in Berlin in 1970, publicity photography, promotional brochures, and correspondence on presentations and demonstrations.
