- Scope and ContentThis file contains photography taken in New Haven (in a number of locations) by Tony Ray-Jones between 1963 and 1964. Events documents include parades for St. Patricks Day (1964), Danbury Fair (1963) and Columbus Day (1964), pet shows (including Taft Hotel Cat Show), Lighthouse Beach, civil rights meetings and an Italian festival (1964). The file includes 16 35mm colour slides, 1,400 black and white 35mm negatives (and associated contact sheets), and 6 black and white vintage photographic prints.
