Esther Hackworth was born on 25 January 1888, she was the daughter of Albert Hackworth and Esther Ann Hackworth, (nee Williams), granddaughter of John Wesley Hackworth and therefore the great granddaughter of Timothy Hackworth. In 1928 she married Norman Alderslade, who was born in 1889 and died in 1968. They had no children. She died in 1973.

Glad that Mr Mee is putting an article that Esther wrote into 'My Magazine', mentions the unveiling of the Timothy Hackworth monument, if she has a portrait of 'grandma Hackworth' [Jane Hackworth (nee Golightly)?] she would like to buy it. (2 sides)
