Ernest Walter (Bill) Elliot was chief Engineer at Decca Radio & Television, Bradford, during the 1970s. Elliot was based at their labs in Clayton having previously worked for Baird Television.

Scope and Content
Document on the international press conference held at the world premiere of the video disk on 24 June 1970 at Telefunken in Berlin. This book contains chapters such as "What does the video disc offer - its scope and uses", "The video disc technique - recording and reproduction" and inventor biographies.
