- Scope and ContentThis series contains Letters form Prudence Nightingale (nee Hackworth). Letters express her concern that the 'blast pipe letter' appears to have been exhibited in Exhibition of the Railway Appliances at the Imperial Institute, this is required for the World Columbian Exposition. She appears to think that the letter has been stolen, however subsequently finds out that the letter exhibited was a copy.
