    This series contains correspondence, press cuttings, advertisements and programmes relating to the showing of propaganda films during WW1. Some of the volumes also include legal agreements and contracts between Charles Urban and other parties, particularly with reference to screenings and licensing. The materials in this series relate to films including 'How Britain Prepared' and 'The War'.

    Two archive boxes measuring 370mm x 290mm x 110mm incorporating approximately c. 500 individual items
  • Physical description
    These materials were originally in bound volumes much like the materials elsewhere in the Charles Urban Archive. The pages have been removed from the binding and rehoused in individual melinex sleeves. The pages themselves are in good condition, with some yellowing but not issues to prevent handling and research use.
