- Scope and ContentSeries comprising work notebooks, union membership cards and ephemera belonging to Francis Whitelegg. Francis was the son of Jack Whitelegg and also worked at Linotype & Machinery. He became a chargehand in the Pattern Shop and was the last member of staff to work there. When the department closed in 1988, the company gave him responsibility for destroying the pattern library.
