Philip H Crewe was a pharmacist working in Manchester and Stockport, active in the 1900s to 1920s. According to The Year Book of Pharmacy 1907, Mr Crewe could be contacted care of James Woolley Sons & Co of Victoria Bridge, Manchester, with his location given as Stockport. The Chemist and Druggist Vol. LXXI., No. 4 contains a report from the 1907 British Pharmaceutical Conference held in Manchester, at which Mr Crewe gave three papers on Ferrous Carbonate, derived from experiments he had carried out in the laboratories of James Woolley and Sons. His address was given in this publication as Stockport. In the 1915 Winter Issue of The Chemist and Druggist, Mr Crewe's location is unknown, with his name listed in the Addresses Wanted section.
