Frank Harris was a College Apprentice with Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd from 1938 to 1947. After serving his apprenticeship he went on to become an employee of Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd, becoming Chief Engineer in the Large Steam Turbine Department, where he worked until he retired.

Scope and Content
Associated Electrical Industries Limited - Turbine-Generator Division report on a visit to A.E.G., Berlin by Dr. A. Frankel and Mr. F.R. Harris. The purpose of the visit was to establish technical contact and to discuss matters of common interset in large steam turbine design.
