- Scope and ContentOne 11.5 x 8 inch, black and white print stamped ‘A John Chillingworth Original’ with reference '10 Mar 1957/3/15A.’ The image consists of an operator standing behind a steel screen conducting a pyrometer test to check the temperature within the Bessemer at Ebbw Vale Works, Wales. The image appears in the picture story “Men at Work: The Bessemer Platform,” June 1958 issue, pp. 30-31. The print has a yellow job sticker on the reverse with the following details: Job: INGOT mag CB, Date out: 17.3.58, Screen: 120, Height: 3 1/4 inches, Width: 5 inches. The reverse contains a ‘copyright of the British Steel plc’ stamp and a stamp for the British Steel plc records centre Irthlingborough with location number given as ‘1562 852c1b1.’
