Includes: - Typed letter on 10 Downing Street headed note paper, addressed to B.N. Wallis Esq., C.B.E., informing him that the Prime Minister intends to submit his name to the Queen for her Birthday Honours list to recommend that he is given a knighthood. Dated 2 May 1968 and signed Michael Halls - Two typed lists of Barnes Wallis' honours to date - Envelope addressed to B.N. Wallis Esq., C.B.E. marked 'On her Majesty's Service', urgent, personal, Prime Minister - Barnes Wallis' response to the Prime Minister's Principal Private Secretary accepting the knighthood "should Her Majesty decide to give her assent to the Prime Minister's suggestion." Dated 7 May 1968
