- Fiddaman, RobertBiographyBiography
Farmer
Fiddaman ran a farm in Hertfordshire which was one of farm-scale trials for GM crops. He was actively involved in the debate and was also chairman of the Supply Chain Initiative on Modified Agricultural Crops. During the trials he would often have his farm land destroyed by protestors and had to report several of these crimes to the police along with considering installation of a security system. Fiddaman continued to give talks on GM crops after the end of the debate and was often invited to join panels in discussions of the future of biotechnology.
