- Scope and ContentThis series contains materials relating to the opening of Studio 5, Wembley, by Associated-Rediffusion in 1960. Studio 5 was, at the time of its opening, the largest television studio in the world, covering 14,000 square feet. The file contains photographs of Studio 5 and the broadcasting equipment used in its early broadcasts, as well as a promotional brochure and promotional materials relating to the studio's opening transmission of An Arabian Night on 9th June 1960.
