Lawrence William Baker was a broadcast engineer who worked for Associated-Rediffusion Television, Independent Television and Thames Television. He began working for Associated-Rediffusion Limited as a Trainee Junior Control Operator in July 1955. He was promoted to Senior Control Operator at Associated Rediffusion Limited in July 1961. He retired from work in 1983.

This series contains three brochures produced by Thames Television and the Independent Broadcasting Authority relating to corporate hire of Thames Television Studios in Teddington, broadcast engineering and Thames Television.
