In 1983 Gordon established GAMA Microwave Technology to provide an independent industry source for supplying microwave appliance engineering design services, and practical food heating technology assistance. During the early 1990’s Gordon became involved with advanced combination oven developments and introduction of the even-heating, no-limitation, mode resonator microwave system; which is currently being used in consumer, commercial catering & bakery ovens, and recently introduced foodservice combination-steamer equipment.
In 2009, in conjunction with Heinz, Gordon launched the smallest microwave oven in the world - Beanzawave.
