Edward Johnson Collection of Indian film posters and promotional material

This archive collection of Indian cinema memorabilia was compiled by Edward Johnson. It is comprised of posters, film stills, lobby cards and booklets and relates to Bollywood cinema from 1938 – 1985. The materials in this archive relate to several films by Filmistan Ltd. such as Anarkali (1953), Munimji (1955) and Paying Guest (1957) and Mehboob Productions such as Mother India (1957) and Aan (1956). Other films represented include Amar, Akbah, Anthony (1977), Bazaar (1982), Daag (1952), Pakeezah (1971) and Sikandar (1941). A detailed listing for this archive is available.
