- Scope and ContentThis archive consists of an extensive collection of sheet music as used by the orchestra at Bradford Theatre Royal Picture House for cinema performances in the early 20th century. The sheet music in this collection includes full series' of orchestrations for the Fischer, Joseph Carl Breil, Kinothek, Sam Fox, and Hawkes productions and approximately 300 additional miscellaneous sets.

- Physical descriptionThe condition of this collection is fair. The sheet music is largely stored in paper folders with some annotation on the outside. The folders vary in condition - some are in reasonable condition, and others are very fragile and beginning to disintegate. All folders are dirty, and the collection will need to be repackaged.

- Archival historyThis collection was sold to the National Media Museum in 1995. The donor originally acquired the collection from a second hand shop in Ambleside, whose proprietor came from Bradford. The proprietor acquired the collection from Bradford Theatre Royal Picture House.
