Lane, E.T.Biography Biography
E.T. Lane was born c 1830. He was the son of Richard James Lane, Engraver and Lithographer. He is believed to have been a pupil at the Great Western Railway Works, Swindon in the late 1840s. He died in 1850 aged 20 years old.

Scope and Content
A notebook of drawings by E.T. Lane mostly of Great Western Railway locomotives and wagons with dimensions. There are also several drawings of locomotive components also with dimensions. Each drawing is dated and signed E.T. Lane.
