    Corporate film produced by Hawkshead communications Limited for GEC. Film written and directed by John Selwyn Gilbert. This film was made to celebrate GEC centenary in 1986 (though there is no formal title credited in the film). The film demonstrates the major role played by GEC in the industries worldwide, the many disciplines GEC is involved in, sampling the wide range of services and products offered by GEC: railways, equipment for airplanes, oil industry technology, power engineering, defence, telecommunications, electronics, and medical equipment., According the closing credits, the film was made thanks to the help of several British and International companies. Indeed the film contains footage taken on some of these companies' sites or of their activities in connection with GEC. These are the following: British Airways, British Petroleum Development Limited., British Rail, British Steel Corporation, Nottingham University Hospital, Peterhead Power Station, and in Hong-Kong Cable and Wireless Plc., China Light and Power Company Limited and Mass Transit Railway Corporation
