- Scope and ContentUrges Trevithick to return to Cornwall stating that a house occupied by I Harvey was available. Harvey again urges Jane to put her trust in Mr Blewett and accept Blewett's motives in pursuing Trevithick for money owed; Mr Blewett would advance money on Harvey's account for family purposes. Jane should not think hard of Harvey's refusal to advance any more money to Trevithick until risk was reduced by Trevithick's return to Corwall. The letter also notifies Jane of the death of Mrs Trevithick the previous Tuesday.
