A collection of papers, including site drawings, relating to site evaluation, excavation and report which were carried out between 2003 and 2005 in the New Islington Wharf, Ancoats area of Manchester. The work focussed on the study of Moore's Cotton Spinning Mill (dating from 1804), back-to-back housing on Back Mill Street and Bradley Street, as well as Goolden's Buildings, a former timber warehouse.

This archive was created by Oxford Archaeology North in the course of their work on the site of Moore's Mill at New Islington in central Manchester. They donated these records to the museum in 2007.
