    One box of papers relating to site evaluation, excavation and report which was carried out in 2004, on what is now known as Piccadilly Place. Originally the area had been known as Shepley Street which included Shepley Street Mill, the first in Manchester to be powered solely by a steam engine.

    This archive was created by Oxford Archaeology North in the course of their work on the 'Piccadilly triangle' site in central Manchester. They donated these records to the museum in 2007.
