Vivian of Hereford Biography Biography
Vivian of Hereford was a photography business established in the town High Street by Gertrude and Ada Durrant. The business established a relationship with the composer Edward Elgar and the Three Choirs Festival in the 1920s. They were also frequently commissioned to take photographs for the nearby Royal Air Force base, a relationship known to have lasted into the 1960s.

Scope and Content
Collection of five photographs of personnel sitting for formal groups, including possibly after passing out, and at sports events. The images also include one photograph of an aircraft fuselage broken up on a scrapheap. The aircraft is possibly a Lockheed T-33A Silver Star belonging to the Canadian Air Force.
