The Casablancas High Draft Company was a textile engineering firm based in Salford, known to have been in existence in the first half of the 20th century and into the 1950s. The business manufactured and installed machinery for the textiles industry such as spinning frames. The Managing Director in 1949 was a Mr. J. Noguera.
Riley, Jim Biography Biography
Jim Riley worked in the Lancashire textile industry in Accrington in the first half of the 20th century. He also worked in India.

Collection of five published volumes about textile machinery put together by Jim Riley during his working life, including a volume of cotton spinning calculations he used in India, and a volume describing the drafting process in cotton spinning written by one of the directors of Casablancas High Drafting Co, 1920s-1950s.

The volumes were collected together by Jim Riley during his working life. They include a volume passed on to him by his father, who worked in the cotton mills in Accrington, and a volume of cotton spinning calculations used by Jim Riley himself in India, amongst other material.
