Frank Harris was a College Apprentice with Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd from 1938 to 1947. After serving his apprenticeship he went on to become an employee of Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd, becoming Chief Engineer in the Large Steam Turbine Department, where he worked until he retired.

Scope and Content
Report on visits to American manufacturers of water separators by F.R. Harris and A. Sidebotham of Associated Electrical Industries Limited - Turbine Generator Division. Included with the report is a series of invoices and plans of equipment to be supplied by the Centrafix Corporation of Houston.
