Frank Harris was a College Apprentice with Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd from 1938 to 1947. After serving his apprenticeship he went on to become an employee of Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd, becoming Chief Engineer in the Large Steam Turbine Department, where he worked until he retired.

Scope and Content
Series of personal working papers collected by Frank Rosslyn Harris between 1937-1997. The majority of the documents are printed reports about projects however there are a small number of letters from individuals. Although most of the the documents relate to his role as Chief Engineer at A.E.I., there are a few from when he first started working for Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd.
