- Scope and ContentDetailed accounts, mostly for work done for individuals in Great Britain. At the back, abstracts of accounts are given for most years. After 1853 accounts are present from New Brunswick and Newfoundland, USA especially for railway engineer C.F. Cheffins 1846-47 and 1852-53. C.F. Cheffins (1807 – 1860) was a railway architect, printer and publisher. It is likely that William Lunn was carrying out surveys on behalf Cheffins for a series of his maps. The account book includes entries on railways and branch lines including Norwich and Brandon Railway, Colchester and Diss Railway, Harwich Railway, Trent Valley Railway, Exeter and Eastern Counties Railway, London and Epping, Thames Junction, Lincoln and Doncaster, Midland and Grand Junction, Exton and Southport, North Staffordshire, European and North American Railway.
