QUIT Biography Biography
Established in 1926 as the National Society of Non Smokers, the group became known as QUIT following attainment of charitable status in 1983. Throughout its existence, the group engaged in a range of campaigns against smoking, and provided guidance and support for people wishing to stop smoking. The group dissolved in 2018.

Scope and Content
A minute book containing the minutes of committee and annual general meetings of the National Society of Non Smokers. Also included are annual reports and correspondence.
