QUIT Biography Biography
Established in 1926 as the National Society of Non Smokers, the group became known as QUIT following attainment of charitable status in 1983. Throughout its existence, the group engaged in a range of campaigns against smoking, and provided guidance and support for people wishing to stop smoking. The group dissolved in 2018.

Scope and Content
A photo album containing images of individuals involved in the activities of the National Society of Non Smokers as well as examples of their campaigns. Also included is a facsimile of a monthly newsletter of the English Anti-Tobacco Society and Anti-Narcotic League originally published on 1st June 1876.
