Bagley, John (fl 1969-1992), air race handicapper John Bagley was born in 1929, he was a former aerodynamacist at the RAE. He later became senior curator of the aeronautical collections at the Science Museum. He died in 2003.

Scope and Content
Comprises detailed records of competitors and performances in the 1980s and 1990s (including King's Cup and Schneider Trophy races), and records from earlier decades including those compiled by Wilfrid Dancy and D. J. Lyons. Includes also records re 1969 BP England to Australia race and 1971 British Columbia Centennial London to Victoria race.
