Lexington Communications is the UK’s leading independent public affairs and communications agency, specialising in providing an issues-based approach to the political and media challenges that organisations face. Lexington also helps in drafting responses to select committees and so was of vital importance to the government during the research and debate of genetically modififed organisms, inclusing labelling and restriction of use for animal feed. Lexington would also assist companies researching and promoting GMO's as part of their public affairs sector to keep companies in a positive light amongst the negative response of the public.
Agricultural Biotechnology Council Biography Biography
The Agricultural Biotechnology Council (abc), comprising of six member companies, works with the food chain and research community to invest in crop technologies. These are designed to tackle challenges such as pests, diseases and the changing climate whilst dealin with other envrionmental factors These companies are; BASF, Bayer, Dow AgroSciences, Monsanto, Pioneer (DuPont) and Syngenta.
