    The Yorath Lewis Archive consists of records concerning the Neverstop Railway and its potential applications - business correspondence, publications, technical drawings, blueprints, photographs and ephemera. There are also photographs and films of the Neverstop Railway at British Empire exhibition.

  • Physical description
    The condition of the collection is fair with many of the papers placed loose in the boxes or in envelopes. Some of the drawings, particularly the original drawings, are fragile and some have been torn.

    The archive was donated to the Science Museum by William Yorath Lewis in 1961 and held at Wroughton until 2000, when it was transfered to the National Railway Museum.
