- Scope and ContentThis volume includes reports for January 9, 1835 "The Large Wheels of the North Star Engine are getting very bad, New wheels will be wanted would the Company wish to have Small Cast Iron wheels same as Planet" (p.152), January 23, 1835 "Mrs Fulds of New Shildon made a complaint against George Walton Guard of the Shildon Coach, and said that on the Wednesday Evening she came up from Darlington in the Coach in Company with two Gentlemen, the Gentlemen got Out of the Coach at Aycliffe Lane, The Guard then got in beside her and conducted himselfe very improperly she beged that for the Safety of other Females the cace might not pass unnoticed" (p.155).
