Lane, E.T.Biography Biography
E.T. Lane was born c 1830. He was the son of Richard James Lane, Engraver and Lithographer. He is believed to have been a pupil at the Great Western Railway Works, Swindon in the late 1840s. He died in 1850 aged 20 years old.

Scope and Content
A notebook of drawings by E.T. Lane mostly of Great Western and London and North Western Railway locomotives, labelled broad and narrow gauge respectively. There also various rough sketches of components.
