  • Scope and Content
The box contains English Electric negatives in printed envelopes. The origin is EE Bradford or Preston and all photos are of locomotives, electrical control equipment, and components in sequential bundles. They are listed by group or set of photographs, not by individual photos. A sample from each bundle is detailed. It was noted that some individual envelopes were designated B/C and some P/C. The reason for this is surmised to refer to a Bradford or Preston origin of the photograph. B/C 2300 to 2399 - Sample: B/C 2300 Loco Control Frame with Voltage Regulator and Fan on top B/C 2400 to 2499 - Sample: B/C 2400 Underframe Contactor Case B/C 2500 to 2599 - Sample: B/C 2500 HT Control Resistor Frame B/C 2600 to 2688 - Sample: B/C 2600 4 new locomotives outside a railway depot Locos are for New Zealand Government Railways, numbers (l-r) 511, 502, 504 & 513.
