- Scope and ContentImages taken by Peter Hewitt, on behalf of Richard, Thomas & Baldwins Ltd, for the December 1958 issue of INGOT magazine. The images were taken for the picture story “Remploy - Work for the Disabled” by Correlli Barnett, pp. 10-12. The article tells the story of John Evans, a driver who lost both legs in a lorry accident and who found employment again through Remploy Ltd, a company set up in 1945 under the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act, 1944, to provide sheltered employment for disabled persons. It also outlines the work and initiatives of the company. This series contains two photographic prints which were published in the above picture story and seven prints which were not published. It also contains thirty-eight negatives and eight contact sheets
