- Archival historyThe photographs were taken for John A Wood Ltd. They were then kept by William Edward Jervis, who worked at Mount Street Mills with his wife Alice and sister Elsie, as he and his family feature on some of the images. William Jervis was foreman at the mills. Jervis passed the archive on to his grandchild, who donated them to the museum in 2013.
