English architect, artist, and topographical illustrator. Allom was a founding member of what became the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He designed many buildings in London, including the Church of St Peter's. He also worked with Sir Charles Barry on the Houses of Parliament and other projects.

British landscape painter, born in Yorkshire in 1794. Pickering exhibited Between 1815 and 1818 he exhibited eleven landscapes at the Society of Painters in Water Colours (the Old Watercolour Society) between 1815 and 1818, and four landscapes at the Society of British Artists galleries in Suffolk Street, London, in 1827–8.
In 1836 he had a studio at 53 Bold Street, Liverpool. He later moved to Grange Mount, Birkenhead, where he died on 8 March 1857.
- Westall, WilliamBiographyBiography
William Westall was a painter and engraver, born in Hertford in 1781, whose works included those sketched on voyages to Australia and India. He also produced many sketches of the Lake District. Westall died at St John's Wood in 1850.
