Coventry and District Tramways Company Biography Biography
Steam powered tramway between Coventry and Bedworth, operating from 1884 to 1893. A proposed extension to Nuneaton was withdrawn owing to opposition. Steam traction ceased in 1893, and there was no tramway service until 1895.
South Staffordshire Tramway Co.Biography Biography
Registered in 1882 as The South Staffordshire and Birmingham District Steam Tramways Co. Incorporated as South Staffordshire Tramway Co. in 1889.
